1) The only time Lysander can remember their mum getting mad was when they broke one of the Saviours toys. There were several editions, all fairly rare. Mum owned the Raiding the Ministry set of six; Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom and herself immortalized in action figures. When you pulled the arm of the figurine it did it's most famous move during the raid. Lorcan liked Neville best, he liked the way Neville's nose broke and poured blood on whatever surface you played on. Lysander liked brains attacking Ron, he played with Ron so often the charm wore off. Six years old and frustrated, his solution was to tug on the arm harder and harder, until it ripped off. Mum shouted at him, and it was so startling he cried.

2) Lysander played with Rose Weasley almost every day before she went to Hogwarts and left him lonely for a year. Mum had tried setting play-dates with the Potters, she liked talking to them more then Rose's mum, who always put down The Quibbler. It made dad happy when a date was set up, it upset him that neither Lorcan or Lysander liked playing with other boys. It never worked, Albus and James were no exception. They did like enjoy sneaking off with Lily, who usually had Rose over. When Lily decided to act more like her brothers, wrestling for fun it became just Rose.

3) He wasn't surprised when he was sorted into Gryffindor. He was a very headstrong boy, bravery and chivalry seemed more natural than breathing.

4) Nor was he surprised that Lorcan went to Slytherin. Really, his brother was headstrong too. It just showed in ambition and forethought instead of going off half-cocked.

5) In fact, he sort of liked it that between the four of them, the Scamanders covered all the houses. It seemed... harmonic.

6) His first crush was on Rose's dad. Lysander was eleven, and he thought Rose's dad was utterly brilliant. He was a brave, strong Auror, and he cared more about other people than himself. The more he read in the Hogwarts library about the man, the more he was in awe of him.

7) Lysander's not sure when he began thinking of him as Ron, instead of Rose's dad. Certainly by the time he started to wank while picturing him. It made it less dirty, somehow, if he was Ron instead of Mr Weasley.

8) Ron wasn't the first person he wanked off thinking about, but that's only because Dominic Finnegan had just walked through the room naked, and his mind was unable to morph the black boy into a white man with red hair. Maybe if he had had longer than the five strokes it took him to come.

9) Lysander was never under the delusion that girls might work. He only dated Francine because he thought it would make Lorcan happy. Truth be told, he might have spent his entire life dating women, if that's what Lorcan had needed from him.

10) The first time he kissed Lorcan it was for a game of truth or dare. Some stupid girl Lysander doesn't even know the name of -that's a lie, it was Valerian Smith, Lysander remembers everything about that evening, down to the pair of socks he was wearing, the ones with the annoying holes in the toes that he couldn't get the darning charm to work on- dared them, and neither were the cowardly type to back away from a dare, no matter how strange.

11) Lysander thought having a crush on one of Dominic's dads would have been easier. At least then he'd know he was their type, even if they did say no. With boys his age, no one was out. It was impossible to tell who had potential.

12) The second time they kissed was nearly a year later, during summer vacation. They'd been leaving a youth club, disappointingly sober and a group of giggly teenage girls had waved them over. They smelled like tobacco and menthol and marijuana, but the fuchsia haired girl offered them thirty quid for it. It was still strange, but thirty quid was thirty quid, so they did it.

13) It was easy enough to sneak into the Weasley master bedroom and steal a pair of Ron's underwear. Though it was the first time for that particular item, it wasn't the first or even the tenth time he'd lifted something. It was far more difficult to spend the rest of the day with Rose and not brag about the brilliant theft.

14) Catching Lorcan a month later wanking while smelling them shouldn't have been as hot as it was.

15) The third time they kissed he and Lorcan were drunk. After the third they stopped counting.

16) He and Lorcan spoke about Ron sometimes. He was almost the least taboo thing they could talk about. It made Lysander feel better to know he wasn't the only one that had a thing for older war heroes.

17) The first time they wanked together was awkward. Lysander couldn't look at Lorcan, Lorcan couldn't stop staring at Lysander. It was far more horrible than sexy, and if it wasn't for their headstrong personalities it would have ended that night.

18) The second time they decided to snog as they were wanking. With their bodies so close Lysander's hand slid to Lorcan's cock as easy as taking a breath.

19) It never occurred to him to follow through until Ron and Hermione divorced. If Lorcan thought about it, he didn't say anything. Nor was the lending credit to a pipe dream the only effect the break up had. Hugo was devastated, he stopped paying attention in class and had detention nearly every night. On the other side of the spectrum was Rose, who didn't seem to mind. She even went as far as to say it was for the best, looking at Lysander all the while. Of course neither he nor Lorcan had ever been silly enough to tell her of their crush, but sometimes he wondered if she knew.

20) As far as seduction goes, Lysander isn't good at it. He's got a very Gryffindor mentality about it. If at first a technique doesn't succeed, try try again. As always, he's depending on his brother to help him.
